Hi, My name is Sunnie. I am a wife, nurse and stepmom. I am learning to cook foods that are "country". I would like to use this web page to correspond with other people who are interested in cooking, gardening and living in the country. I live on a small farm in Indiana, and I am looking forward to planting a garden, flowers and just being outside. I hope to learn to can fruits and vegetables and to use the vegetables and fruits that we grow. My husband is anxious to learn to. So...come on in, and visit a while. The coffee is always on. |

GOATS.... GOATS......GOATS

We are now goat "farmers". We have purchased goats and are milking them twice a day. What do we do with all the milk? | I have tried making ice cream...YUMMY....goat cheese...The recipe was not that great..but it did turn out like cheese. My family is drinking it without any problems...I don't think there is much difference between it and cow's milk. I would like to find other cheese recipes and anything else that we could use this milk for.

Nursing.....101

Being a nurse in a very changing health care field is frightening as well as stressful. Everyday HCFA seems to change the rules. I work in a nursing/rehab facility and am in charge of the MDS's. For those of you who don't know what that is...it determines the rate of pay/day/resident based on care required. It is a 10 page assessment that seems to become more complicated each week. I would be interested in chatting or exchanging e-mail with other MDS Co-Ordinators out there. We definitely need to support each other...for our sanity if nothing else! *smile*
